Thailand update – Amnesty Bill and Cambodian temples

Today is an important day in the Thai parliament.

Members will vote on the Amnesty Bill at 6pm ICT and another vote will happen about which country owns the land around the Prear Vihear temples on the Thai/Cambodian border.

Rather sadly, police are braced for clashes in Bangkok. Let’s hope the city remains calm.

Here’s some opinion on both topics from the BBC, the Bangkok Post and a blogger.
